Tragic Fire in Kuwait Claims 40 Lives, Including 10  Indians

On Wednesday morning, a devastating fire broke out in a six-story building in Mangaf block, Ahmadi Governorate, Kuwait, claiming 40 lives, including ten Indian nationals.

The fire started in a kitchen on a lower floor around 4:30 am local time, spreading rapidly and trapping residents inside.

Firefighters responded quickly to the scene. Despite their efforts, the intensity and rapid spread of the flames hampered rescue operations.

At least 40 people lost their lives, and several individuals suffered serious injuries and are undergoing medical treatment.

The local community and families of the victims are deeply affected, with an outpouring of grief and support.

The tragedy underscores the need to strengthen high-rise building fire safety protocols and emergency preparedness to prevent similar disasters in the future.
